Healthy living starts with good habits. Some people might notice that their new towels develop strange spots over time, leading them to believe there’s something wrong with the product. However, it could actually be due to improper use. So, how can you use a towel in the most effective and hygienic way?

1. Always follow the care instructions on the label. This is the best guide for maintaining the quality of your towel.

2. When washing, avoid using very hot water. Wash dark and light-colored towels separately. Also, don’t wash your towel with clothes that have zippers, hooks, or buttons, as these can damage the towel’s fibers. Avoid washing the towel with delicate fabrics, as the terry fabric may trap lint from the towel, which can stick to the clothing and affect its appearance.

3. Use a mild detergent and avoid pouring it directly onto the towel. This helps prevent discoloration from residue. Try to minimize the use of chlorine bleach, as it can weaken the fabric over time.
