On the 18th, Wuhan Customs notified the foreign trade "report card" in the first three quarters of this year. The province and the city's exports were bright: The first three quarters of the province's foreign trade exports exceeded the level of last year's full year. The first three quarters of the city closely followed last year's results.

According to Wuhan Customs statistics, in the first three quarters of this year, the province’s foreign trade exports were US$ 10.39 billion, an increase of 48.7% year-on-year, but not in the whole year of last year.

In the first three quarters of the year, Wuhan exported 6.48 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 61.5% year-on-year, only 100 million U.S. dollars less than last year's total exports. The data shows that the current trend of foreign trade in the province has been significantly better than the level before the financial crisis, and it has achieved resuming growth.

According to sources from the provincial and municipal bureaus of commerce, the impact of domestic cotton prices has soared, while the growth of cotton prices in the international market is lower than that of the domestic market. In the first three quarters of this year, cotton imports hit a record high. The province imported cotton by US$0.6 billion, an increase of 2.9 times.
