On the first day of the 2018 fall/winter Paris menswear week, Virgil Abloh debuted with the new Off-WhiteTM series, and the white version of the Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1 officially unveiled quickly became a topic. Turning to the series itself, Virgil Abloh takes the theme of “BUSINESS CASUAL†this time, aiming to create a dress code that belongs to the “future CEO, business managers and lawyersâ€.
Relying on past street styles, Virgil started from his own point of view and reshaped traditional suits, shirts, and polo shirts in different ways, such as tailoring and dyeing. Signature quotes also run through them, hitting a color suit. Jackets, translucent coats and jackets with "open" designs on the sleeves are among the highlights of the series. Of course, there is always a tribute to Margiela, Raf Simons and Balenciaga.
